Guu is known as one of the first Izakaya establishment in Vancouver, offering the most authentic real izakaya experience to Vancouver locals. As of 2019, there are five locations in Vancouver and one in Toronto. This is as close you’ll get to the real deal….unless you fly to Japan! Fresh local ingredients are curated and cooked in Japanese traditional manner. At each location, this is combined with staff's passion and energy to offer "umami", leaving them happy and feeling "Guuu'd". The brand logo is inspired by Kamon, Japanese emblems used to identify a family. Each location has a uniquely designated Kamon based on their theme. The color tone choose for Guu is always vivid just like Japanese pop culture.
